Malinga's Retirement from Test Matches

One of the World's fastest bowler, Malinga, announced that he had retired from the Test Matches because of "long-standing degenerative condition in the right knee".

He said that he hopes to play in 2012 World Twenty20 and the 2015 World Cup.
But the reason he announced was not the actual reason.
This was because when he was playing in the IPL 2011, he was asked by the Sri Lankan Cricket Board to
play a Test Tournament in England.

Malinga's Overview

Separamadu Lasith Malinga was born in August 28, 1983. He is known as a specialist for his fast bowling.
He is also known as the best and one remaining slinger. He is from a village called Rathgama.
He was not from a rich or educated background, but his born ability of cricket led him to Sri Lanka Cricket Team . He studied in 3 schools:

  1. Devapathiraja College, Rathgama.
  2. Vidyaloka College, Galle.
  3. Mahinda College, Galle.

When he was studying in the "Mahinda College, Galle" he was discovered by a fast-bowler called Champaka Ramanayake. He loved Malinga's style of bowling. Malinga was introduced to the Sri Lanka Cricket Team through Champaka Ramanayake.

First in the practice, he was asked to bowl in the normal style. But Malinga felt it difficult to bowl in that pattern. So, he again moved to his own style.
But until now, he is being never reported by anyone of his different style of bowling.
